Just for a moment this evening I got to stand and watch the bats starting to hunt (future post maybe?) and look at the sky. It has been a busy day with the wild ones, and with an unsettled littlest un it could be a long night, so a pause is more than welcome.
There was a lovely sunset too, but I couldn’t capture it in a photo that would do it justice.
So today is about cirrus clouds (known as mare’s tails) and a nice bit of weather lore..
“Mare’s tails and mackerel scales, make lofty ships carry low sails“
So despite of fair weather clouds, should we prepare for gusty weather?!
